Canon iR-ADV C5850 Gen3+ Papercut Integrated scanning Java error

    Canon iR-ADV C5850 Gen3+ Papercut Integrated scanning Java error

    So we're running Papercut version 21.1.1 and the primary site server is in London. We have other European & 1 US secondary sites connected. Now the issue is only with the site in US and using the integrated scanning function. We have 2 copiers in the US throwing up the same error below when a user performs a scan.




    One suggestion was to change the system.scan.default-locale to en_US but this resulted in a similar error on the German Canon copiers, both UK & US copiers worked fine.


    Any ideas?

    Maybe check the firmware is the latest or at least the same version as the devices you have in the UK.

      Some thoughts:
      Integrated Scanning needs a stable connection between the site and the app server.
      The scan default locale is used for scan formats mainly. Her in EU A3, A4, A5, etc. In US letter, legal, 11x17. Changing locale changes Paper size at the integrated scanning window.


      My guess is this is a papercut app bug or miscommunication error between the App server with one locale and the Device with another.
