    Canon ImagePress C710 Colors issue

    Hello,

I have a IP c710 with color issue whenever i try to calibrate the machine through the gradation sensor.

Each time i calibrate a different result of colors i got . Check the photo attached. All the results are way far from the correct colors.

First of all the machine have no scanner .So i cant swap the gradation to using scanner.

I cleaned all the sensors in the engine , patch and registration sensors , black patch. Gradation sensors . Cleaned all the lasers (all glasses & polygon).

Tried different patch sensor. Tried different p-pascal values . All without any improvements.

All the PG results are good . Machine is having this issue ever since it was installed. Total counter around 400K only.

Tried doing a full format . Installed newest firmware. Cleared DC all without any improvements.

Any suggestions what would be the cause of this issue ?

Does it have a Fiery or PrismaSYNC attached? Have you calibrated using a spectrophotometer?

      Probably a DC controller
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

There is a fiery connected. Tried printing directly through UFRII driver also same.

Done more tests and the colors is perfect on plain media. Only on thicker media / labels the colors will be damaged.

Restored the dither settings to the default and calibrate all went back to normal without any problems. Repeat calibration several times also all was ok .

        Thanks for the assistance

          Hi,
          first ,
copy out the following machine parameter from service mode
service mode- mode list -copier - adjust
          1. laser 2. Dens 3. image adj 4. V cont 5. feed adj
          6. P/Pascal in level 2

          then Clear the DC-CON from
          Copier -Function - Clear -DC-CON - OK
off the machine wait 5mins then On the machine back , and Enter back the cleared parameter, then test and feed me back.
