Canon IR adv 4235i Jams in fuser

Have a 4235i with jam code 0107. Paper from all draws along manual feed jam at same place in fuser ass when copying single sided. I have fitted a new fuser ass which normally resolves jams with this code in my experience.
    any thoughts please would help.

    Paper pass throught Fixing delay

Check any worn at leading edge paper
Maybe 2 reason: pressure between Pressure Roller and Fixing Film not good, or Flag of Fixing outlet sensor got sticky then it's operation not correct

Thanks for reply. The jams are occurring with a new fused unit not just a film replacement. Will take a look at your suggestions when I visit in the next few days. Thanks for your input.

If replace with good Fixing assembly still jam then problem will be at Registration Sensor or Flag of registration sensor

Thanks Nick, have you ever had issues with the light type registration sensor. I have had issues with the old flag type with the damper pad getting sticky, thought the new reflector type fitted to the 42 series are reliable as I have had no issues except cleaning them ? Worth a look. Thanks.

I will now exchange the corresponding unit with sensors and coils.

                      It's a registration timing jam.

Replace the registration roller clutch to resolve, or temporarily swap the clutch with one of the other 2 right next to it.

Clutches are located behind the HV PCB.

                        Hi Sly

Yesterday i was at the customer and i found what is the problem.

The problem it is in the drum unit (see picture)

Drum unit with the chip is the CEXV 53, without chip is CEXV 38/39. This is the 1st drum unit (the machine was only 15T prints)

I install the drum unit CEXV 38/39 and there were no more jams.

See the difference on black plastic with white rollers on the drum unit.....

I agree with you, only time I've ever had that problem was related to those clutches. Mainly the developing clutch but I would clean them all just to be safe!

Normally also accompanied with the jam is a misregistration of the image. Either to the left or to the right
