    Any reason why these hdd burn up with the please wait bull----. Had 3 this month. Anyone know where i can get the hdd formatted with the software needed for these machines. Help much appreciated. Thanks t

      You can get the HDD with the latest software version from memory specialist.Lots cheaper than Canon

          The others have given you some insight into where to go for the replacement,, the reason why, is more likely the age of these machines. The 5000 has been in the field for a pretty long time, and you may be just experiencing a bad string of luck. The toshiba drives in the 3300's were God awful for failure, but the 5000's were much more stable. Their advancing years is going to catch up with them in the end though. The hard drives in these copiers are far busier than any pc drive,,,
