I have a 4 year old IPF-670 Prograf for my business. I have never had a problem with it. A few days ago the print quality was bad so I did a nozzle check. All of the colors printed fine except blue which was very streaked and faded. Even though it said I still had blue ink I replaced it with a new cartridge. This did not help. Then I ran Printhead Cleaning A and B a few times. This did not help. Then I took the printhead out and cleaned it with 50% water and 50% rubbing alcohol and Qtips. Not only did this not help after that it kept saying either replenishing ink or filling ink tanks until all of my ink was gone and my maintenance cartridge was full. Now I am out of ink, need a new maintenance cartridge and possibly print head and it still won't print blue. If I replace all of this it will cost more than I spent buying the machine brand new. Should I give up on it?

Re: IPF-670 Clog
I don't know about the cost factor, but those are the things you'll have to do to fix it. If you had changed the printhead first you could have avoided the other items. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
