Printing Suspended

    Printing Suspended

    Hello to all I am having an issue with an IRC 5185, when trying to copy or print the Copier comes on like its ready to print the screen shows that the Print Job is suspended. The Error light starts to blink and the copier gets stuck, and sugestions wll be greatful thank you guys in Advance.

    Do you have a imagepass connected?
    Do you have dept id codes set up?
    At what point did this begin?

      Yes the Image Pass is Connected i assume it started within the past few days just got the service call today, as far as the dept key I will check with IT and make sure all the server and log in detials are entered and correct.

        Check the imagepass and see if the imagepass is on resume printing and not Suspend.

            Also check the finisher and the staple cartridge..
            If it has one.

              Yeah screwy...I've seen that issue with iR5055 finishers...if it runs out of staples you can forget about printing.

                Replace the staple cartridge! Seen this so many times!

                  Thank you guys for your help it turned out to be there was a piece of paper jammed in the fixing unit and had to put staples in also
