      absolutely shouldn't be able to - what brand/make was the 'random' drive?

      however thanks me later - Toshiba MQ01ABF032 AAF AA00/AM001K 320Gb 2.5" Laptop SATA Hard Drive D1 | eBay

          This is what I thought but a 1TB drive allowed a format in the SST & system software installed.

              Drive with part number F4-1550 has encryption that is compatible with printer models adv 35xx, 45xx, 55xx, 65xx generation...
              Everything else E602.
