Hello everybody,
My Canon C5250 has been making a weird noise the last couple of weeks.
I made a small clip of it here because it is difficult to describe:
I had a printer technician look at it but he was unsure what exactly it could be, guessing it was the fuser unit.
The printer has printed around 166'000 pages by now, I bought it with under 50'000.
I love it, because it really seems to be one of those old, well built, reliable machines and has served me very well so far.
I am not a printer tech guy, but I consider myself reasonably talented when it comes to repairing things.
Can someone tell me what could be making that noise and if it would be worth repairing?
Best regards
Gregor
