    Canon IRC 5550 jamming in duplex only.

    Have one with jamming in duplexing only, works fine when copying printing in regular mode. In middle of job, started. been a good working machine.

    Any suggestions?

      Try in Service Mode level 1: Copier > Function > Clear > DCON. Highlight DCON and press ok to clear. Power cycle the imageRUNNER, immediately after performing the clear

              Remove upper exit section/turnover unit.
              You will probably find the switch actuator on top of this unit is displaced

                  Thanks guys! Duplex unit, bad motor. When you think you have seen everything, there is always something that brings you back down to earth! LOL! 38 years and counting, think about retirement, then it's like, then what? Love what I do, love the people that are my customers, some as long as I have been doing this. We are privileged to do this for a living. Good money, good life, your schedule, your time, absolutely just love it. God is good!! God bless America!! Especially all the technicians that keep those machines running for the American business's!
