6055 are legacy devices and don't do the full export so was looking if it was possible to do. I've found something called Device Information Delivery but I'm not sure how to use it as I can't find the devices.
Any way to transfer Department IDs from Canon 6055 to DX 6860?

Can't recall if the first gen adv will let you encrypt the dcm export because usually the 2nd gen on machines will want a password when you try to import/export.
I've got a client with a C9075 and I can't get fuser anymore....if they buy new Canon I am gonna be in the same boat.
Would like to know the answer lol -

I was able to get DID to work and see both copiers. Forgot the Gen 3 doesn't have Department ID turned on by default so just had to turn that on with SMS.Comment

Nice.
I discovered recently that you do not necessarily need dept. ID mode changed in the SMS menu to make it look like the old login. You can use user auth and when you enable department id, you can go under user auth settings and add the user IDs as logins. Worked for me recently at a real estate place with 100 users going from 2nd gen ADV to DX 3800.Comment
