    IR1600 E000

    Hello all,

I have a couple of ir1600 with the same problem.

E000 appears so you reset the error and 2 days or 2 weeks later the error comes back. Change the fuser unit and again 2 days or 2 weeks later it comes back again.

I was told by another engineer that the switch for the left hand slide-out door can cause this problem, the switch in question (doorswitch2) is a simple make or break switch with a metal tag arm on it. I adjusted the arm to make better contact but this does not appear to make any difference.

Wondered if anybody else had come across this or have any other ideas.

    Thanks in advance

        Inspect the following
        - Faulty power supply PCB
        - Poor contact of the flexible cable between the DC controller PCB and the power supply PCB:
        - Faulty DC controller PCB:

Is the the machine on a power strip, if so plug it alone so that it can minimize noise from other electrical equipments.
