    Adv4545 fuser film issues

Is anyone else having issues with fuser films tearing on the Adv4545/4551 units? We replace a lot of films on different models but seem to be getting a very short life on these models only. I am using compatible films but have been doing so for years without problems. Any help is much appreciated.

Used to have issues with the 4000/4200 series blowing a small hole in the center of the film for some reason, and yeah the life was probably getting 50-60% max before it would break....

I don't have a ton of mono stuff left in the field anymore unless its big stuff like 8000 series.

I have a dozen or so 4500/4700/4800 around but no issues with the films yet.

Did you try fw update? there was a firmware for the older units that had to be updated in conjunction with new film installation.

I also encountered the same problem and received complaints from customers. But my compatible fixing film supplier told me to pay attention to the following two points:
1、 Worn shaft sleeves need to be replaced
2、 Be sure to apply grease
I'm testing also, and hoping this userful for u~

hi try to replace pressure roller and film at same time. maybe the pressure roller have imbalance pressure that's why its pulling the film in one side and start to tear.
