IR Advance 4535i paper full sensor

Found broken full sensor / actuator in tray 1 (see attached photo) Part # FB6-3398-000. Can a new one be put in without taking paper unit out of machine?

Can someone recommend a Canon parts supplier that may stock this? All my usual vendors like Precision Roller don't have it or will take a month to get! I work mostly on Kon/Min so don't have many Canon contacts.

Hello you have to take out the paper unit 1 so you can install the new spare.
The other thing would be that you take out the paper unit 2 and compare if the broken piece is complete so that you can glue it: D or maybe it is missing some more spring to activate that sensor activator.
You must contact a canon supplier to sell you the new part or another part machine
