Ok, found out power supply is on the side.
I have replaced it with the one is working on the other machine and the behaviour stays the same ... so its not the PSU at fault.

What could be the next suspect?

try change the hdd

Now I want to try a firmware reflash!
I have working machine, is there a way to create a firmware copy from that?

I have contacted them already but they dont really seem sure what it needs to be done. They just want to poke around for different parts and i just pay.
They dont seem to be able to diagnose what is bad .. they just want to try out parts.
At this state(USB Connect menu) is it possible to tray a reflash of firmware? Because Canon Tech didn't even mention anythings bout this!

Yes, so now you have the device in download mode all you need to do is create a USB pen drive with the firmware to update.

It still might be just the mainboard toasted so firmware would be in vain!

u can try replace MB from another

I can do that but I have a little fear that a bad part between the PSU and the mainboard could fry the working mainboard too!

As a couple of us had suggested all you need to do if re-flash the system software / firmware.
