With Gmail it works now. The problem was that pop RX must be activated to get some kind of verification.

POP has nothing to do with it. Creating a Gmail account, generating device password in 2 step verification of account to put into copier for authentication, and enabling port 587(sometimes 465) will fix scan to email issues. And of course, machine should have the latest firmware...Updater in service mode to get it
