[Error Code] Image Runner Advance C5240 Error Code E748-2010 & E748-9000

IRA C5240 boots up to blank screen with error code: E748-2010. Flash PCB seems to be the problem. I replaced it with a good flash pcb from another machine, and it booted up but now shows error code: E748-9000. Any assistance if greatly appreciated.

Try re-seating all main controller / dc controller connections & update the system software.

You cannot replace the Flash PCB from another machine until you replace the new Flash PCB. Do not try to swap the Flash PCB from another machine because the data stored in the flash may be lost and the machine may not be able to recover it.
There are 3 parts that cannot be swap from another machine:
1. Flash PCB
2. Memory PCB
3. Soft ID PCB.

You cannot replace the Flash PCB from another machine until you replace the new Flash PCB. Do not try to swap the Flash PCB from another machine because the data stored in the flash may be lost and the machine may not be able to recover it.

The best way to do this while the machine is in a error state is via USB pen drive.

We can supply all the software you need if required.

The flash pcb is a controlled part. You need to start a case with Tech Support before you can get one, and you will need to return old one. It's not just a "part: or "firmware" that you can order

This issue is caused by a conflict between the flash data segment and the body number segment.


Do you have the FLASH repair tool that you need to use?


If not, you can consider sending it for repair. This problem is very simple and can be solved as long as FLASH tool is available to fix the incorrect body number of the segment.

FLASH specialized tools are not accessible to ordinary personnel.


The price is not cheap, about $400 is not cost-effective


Personnel with experience in hexadecimal editing are required to operate. So I asked you to send it for repair.
