I have a problem with Ipf 8300 with error E161-403F. I replaced Left printhead plotter worked with 2 small prints and now I have the same error. I already checked 8300 service manual but this error does not exist only E161-403E. In Ipf9000 service manual when this error appear manual point to check main unit electrical equipment: 1. Flexible cable, 2. Main controller, 3.Head relay PCB and 4. Carriage PCB. I noticed on internet that a lot of IPF plotters have this problem and maybe someone will share information how to repair PCB without change them.

Re: IPF8300 error E161-403F
I suspect that you changed the printhead. Is that correct?
That's the usual culprit. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
