    [Error Code] iradvc5235 - E075-002

    Hi,

Was passed this by another tech. Initially it was magenta marks on copies, he replaced the mag drum,
but the machine went into E075-002. He checked the ITB and thought it was OK, he replaced the whole ITB assy from another device
but same error. The machine was brought back to our warehouse, I checked all the wiring and connectors, no bent pins etc, I replaced the DC controller as per manual, but still error exists, itb motor doesn't turn at all. Any ideas?
Machine is about 7 yrs old, approx 450k on it, roughly 50% colour vs mono. Firmware upto date.

      Hi

The itb assy has been replaced with another and also the DC controller has been replaced, still has the error E075-002.

No, it goes straight into error state, the itb motor doesn't turn at all. Replaced the whole itb assy
and same issue, dc controller replaced, still same issue.

            Double check the wiring loom

...just to make sure -after doing all this work and making sure the belt is centered; did you ERR-CLR and reboot the copier?

The copier should need a error clear as it doesn't want to move the belt and potentially damage it.

Yes, the error is cleared, the machine on reboot tries to go in rotation, cassette lifters start to lift, then goes into error.
the ITB motor doesn't turn, a different ITB assy does the same.

This is quite the head scratcher honestly but

it should not be anything to do with the ITB assy despite the error since it was swapped out

it could be the wiring, something in the back of the copier -etc...or...

the issue occurred right after replacing the magenta drum so that could be the cause somehow?

its a bit of a reach but should be easy to check.

Well, as the error only happened after replacing the magenta developer unit, try fitting the old one back.
