ir 5570 lgl jams at finisher

this machine has had issues with lgl at the finisher entrance since we placed it in the field. the lead edge is hanging up on the entry flap of the finisher(t2). i've adjusted the height of the finisher< even swapped the finisher for another one. no matter what i do, it seems like the finisher is too low. has anyone had problems like this before? the machine sets on tile, so the surface is good and level. please help. thanx

Whats the jam code? If its a 020F,check the External Delivery Upper Assembly, this jam can be also caused if the Delivery Roller has become worn or damaged.

Check the Inverter Roller and related bearings for binding. The bearings and Inverter Roller shaft may become "seized" causing the above mentioned jam codes.

    Inverter Roller - FB6-6955-000
    Bearing ------ XG9-0549-000

Since you swapped the finisher and the problem did not go away, I would focus on the machine delivery section.

Make sure that the delivery guide is in place between the copier and the finisher. It snaps in place on the copier side. I have seen these missing on some installs. Looking at the left side of the copier there are 3 rectangular holes above and 3 below the exit rollers-thats where the guide snaps into place.
