Hi, I have a Canon iR3045 that will jam only in the mornings and the jam code indicated by the machine is 0B00 which refers to a Door open Jam. After say 10H00 the machine will work perfectly until the following morning and start jamming again.......any suggestions?

This code can be displayed when the following switch and sensors detect opening of a door during copying or printing.- Right door open/closed sensor (PS59: on the cassette feeding unit-Y1/Y2)
- Door switch (SW2)
- Feed cover sensor (PS18)
- Front cover sensor (PS22)
Maybe sunlight gives error for PS?

The machine is kept in a warehouse and is not directly affected by the sunlight, but thank you for the suggestion.Comment

Hi, the problem has been solved, feedback from the field is that a poor connection on the HV unit caused the paper jamming.
Will update if there is any change.Comment

Hi, not sure how a loose connection would cause a problem only first thing in the morning, but I guess anything is possible. If it does come back something to consider: I had a machine that only jammed in the df in the morning. Turned out that the machine got colder at night and in the morning when it warmed up it would get condensation on a photo-interrupter and would have problems until it warmed up. I had the customer hit the sensor with a hair dryer in the morning when he opened and he never had the problem again. Just a thought, hope it doesn't come back.Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.Comment

Machine run all the time, not in sunlight..only at certain time... possibly power line fluctuation...is the machine on its own dedicated 15 amp line?????8 am day staff comes in, turns on lights,microwave...who knows. Hook a line analyzer up to it and monitor line voltage...or be there at the time when it has the problem to measure voltage(3 wire check between neutral and ground should only be couple volts max). I had a Xerox before that had a doc feeder that started mysterious in the morning...sunlight bouncing off open manual feed tray up to df sensor)!!Comment

Good morning, I took this same defect, by chance found that the problem was the photosensitive drum that was not won by pages counter, more was already in your almost two years. I think it's worth testing.Comment
