    Clc1180 will not enlarge correctly

My clc1180 will not enlarge correctly above 175% ratio.

The scanning lamp will pre-scan and then scan once again, but then the lamp does not move again it just sits there through the 4 color scans and remainder of the job, then the copier will become unresponsive and lock up, so I have to turn it off then back on to be able to use it again.

I have replaced the scanner board and the scanner motor as well and the ps1 sensor. I am out of ideas on this one short of replacing the dc controller.

Are they any recent error codes in the history?

      Any error codes

The copier is working just fine, except for the not being able to enlarge. Last code was e351-0000

Have you tried to move the optics all the way to the right of the optics area? 1180's have been around a long time, and you could have some binding occuring in the optics, especially if enlargement is not done very often. Clean and lube the rails, and give it another try.
