Jam code 0207 don't really have anything to do with the finisher. This jam code is usually associated with the 3 way delivery or the lower right side door or pick up. Mostly this jam code occurs on the right side of the machine.

Does this machine have the updated parts on the right door assembly? The grey feed rollers, the updated paper guides? The 02 portion of the code points to the possibility of the sensor flag hanging or a dirty sensor,,, something to consider.

Tons of mods for this model....also in service mode under adjustments increase the buckle...COPIER/ADJ/...not near manual... under cassette there is a LOOP and LOOP REF i believe for single and duplex.Default is around 62 set it to 80...this will put more buckle in paper before reg roll comes on. Also if over 200k on machine the reg sensor actuator arm wears down...new ones have metal clip on end...i just crazy glue a piece of ty wrap to the old one on its botton, adjust registration and away we go

i have narrowed the problem down to the fuser. i was able to try it in another 2230 and the problem went with it. question is, what is wrong in the fuser? it has low meter(about 35k) and looks like new. i tried adding and taking away pressure with no change in symptom. has anyone encountered this? thanx for all the responses

Check the flapper delivery that sits above the fixing unit when you close the right side door. Its located on the right side door, sometimes its gets stuck and causes the paper to fan up in the fixing unit.

Early series machines like this in general: in addition to doing hardware updates, doing some software updates can be very helpful as well if they are running old software.

For the fixing unit, make sure the exit actuator is is moving ok. I have had a bunch of them hang. You can try doing 1 more wrap on the spring that causes it to snap back to normal position and that usually does the trick. In addition, I have seen the plastic piece going across there be bowed from heat and/or cracked. Another thing to do is to ensure the exit section of the fuser is not broken (top part that you lift up to look inside). Sometimes it can be broken and not easy to see.

thanks guy's, the fuser looks and spins like brand new, everything in it works well,it looks like it has 1000 copies on it.. no paper anomallies detected at all. it just kicks a jam in delivery section of the finisher. and when we put it in a different machine , did the same thing. We had a 3570 do the same thing a while back and the only fix was to replace the whole thing..The flag snaps nicely back and forth, swapped the sensor detecter as well.. It must be one of those deals of things that make you go hummm.
