    Restarting a C1

I am going to to a complete cleaning in the ITB, atr, dev cylinder assy, toner waste, grids and paper feed/path.
As fresh start to see how the dev units will last before 60K this next time.

Is there something else in the Svc mode level 1 or 2.

I want to be very careful on the starter ratio's/mix
could just do the auto gradation but wanted to ask on any new hints.

Did the print out of all settings/door settings and even noted the ratio's
    changing.

Also kept the original ones on installation.

I have to dig up all my notes on the past performance(not good) but
would like to see what changes on the svc manual if any on the newer ones.
    got a early 06"
did not see anywhere in the manuals for starter kits.
But now the starter kits can be found!

    Thanks

Not much has change with the procedure when redeveloping the developers. If you have done this before you should not have no problem.

      Thanks ,Had to ask.
This is one of those times where you have so much in a machine you want to make it work just to see if you can.

Canon should have done much more R&D and
come out and say you have to do a refresh every 70K.

good grief were doing for them.

Shouldn't be that different to a 6800 I would think...restart the devs..initialize them...Full A.Grad and you should be good to go...let us know how you get on.

We don't even offer IPC1 as a color solution any more...it's either 2550i or 5185...and whenever I approach a C1 issue I stop to think what would I do if it was a 6800....doesn't always relate but sometimes it works.

So what do you think Canon is going to do with
              the C1?
I do remember it was for proofing at first.
then I read about the C1+.
