CLC 5000 Error Code

I'm new to copier repair, so bear with me! I have a Canon CLC 5000 and am getting an error code E005-0001 "switch power OFF and ON again". I've turned the machine off & on several times waiting several minutes in between and am still getting the same message after machine restarts.

I'm wondering if I just need to clear the error code? The machine stopped midway through a run and the bypass feeder tray is stuck up in the feed pos:confusediton.

I can get into the service mode, but from there I'm not sure where to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bear with me, it's been awhile-E005 refers to the cleaning web-there is an upper and lower fuser web. Sometimes depending on stock run, I've seen the lower removed. It would be a good idea to check these out first. Running with no web will cook your fuser rollers. You can run heavy stock without lower, however it is a single pass m/c only.
In service mode you need to release the error. It's under the function tab. I believe there is a fuser tab listed there. After resetting this power on/off.
