Canon IR3300 Error E000002-0000

I'm new to this -- Canon IR3300 was just cleaned, serviced. Turn on power switch, error code E000002-0000 comes up; whole keypad is locked, so cannot get into service mode. I'm a user, not a service person, so any helpful hints (in simple English) would be appreciated; or clues I can pass on to my service person. Thanks

what you need to do is just resetting your machine.
1. Press * 28 * on your machine in a quick move.
2. Select copier
3. Select Err.
4. Select Clear then press O.K
5. Turn your machine off for 1 minute and turn it on again.

The error code will not be there anatmoreand your machine will be functioning well.

I would call for service.
You might need to replace
a part.

I appreciate the quick response to my query -- but when you turn the machine on, the Canon logo appears in the window, and then goes to the error message -- the entire keypad is locked up -- can't activate "28" or additional functions, or anything. Any other ideas?
