Hi,
I facing problem of RUI is not working. There are two machines and out of that one machine is accesable with RUI but the other is having problem.
In the sytem setting RUI option is on. pl suggest the solution.

Can you tell me how to load the firmware.Does it available on canon site for down loading.

Yup, this is very common on this series. Sometimes it happens after a machine has been upgraded with new software. However, confirm that this is a model that can print, otherwise you will be wasting your time. But yes, the answer is to reinstall the software on the copier. The software is not a free download, but you may find someone here who will give it out or is hosting it on a free site. Be warned that it is not as easy as upgrading firmware on say a HP printer. A little bit difficult of a task that if not done correctly will down your machine. My suggestion would be to call a tech. Can be done in a short amount of time baring that you actually have a printer model.
