    iR 3300 DF problem

    hi guys,

i have a problem with an iR3300. Sometimes when making copies using DF the copies are printed out blank (the originals are faced up). If i put them to the copyboard glass they are ok. I did the STRD-POS, changed the DF but once a month the copies came out blank.

    Thanks,

    Thomas

    blank copies

i guess there could be some problem with the pick up??maybe two papers are being picked up by the feed rollers?and these could be the reason why you see blank copies..

      Hi Thomas,

Make sure the customer is not resting a stack of papers on the right side of the feeder while they are runing their sets through. I had a customer actually discover the cause and report it to me. They called with blank copies and I checked the copier over several times with customer present, and it always worked correctly. She finally let me know that she had discovered what was occuring. She showed me normal operation, then placed her originals back in the entry, and placed some sheets on right side of entry tray and proceded to create blanks. The flag sensors are depressed by the stack.

          Hai,

Just ensure before papper feeding, all the sensor flags on the top of the feeder are proper position ,according with the size of original...........

I agree with mrfixit. That extra stack of originals trick the ADF into thinking it has a ledger size original, not letter. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              com on

go into "adjust mode" and adjust X Y, and it will appear "Y DF adjust" meaning set the margin "Y DF" position

                thanks guys for helping

and yes, it was the customers fault by putting originals on the right side of the DF

                thanks to all,

                  Mrfixit.

I too have had to experience this pain of customers resting their arm's, paper and even their coats on the machine's causing this error. Very common and very annoying!
