ir4570 faint at one end

Hi all
I have a ir4570 which goes faint at rear end sometimes when the right hand door is opened. Also opening and shutting the door cures the problem. Any ideas please.

It sounds like a shutter issue...
If you can try swapping the door with one from another machine...failing that you'll have to pull the shutter switch out and have a look at it..maybe bend it a little so that there's better contact.

Look over your transfer/registration assembly for something strange. I have seen busted pivot/hinge on the bottom of a door, can't recall if it was 4570 or 3170, but one of those right doored beasties.

I've changed the r/hand door and its cured the problem but can't see anything wrong with the door, will keep trying.

Make sure that the springs under the ends of transfer roller are making contact properly.
