    3220 printing problem

3220 problem when printing more than 1 page
first page will come out but the second one would
not be processed. machines shows "waiting to print"

I did a firmware update but still have the same problem.
    any suggestions?

    Problem could be the file.
    What file format is it?

previous problems from other machines was due to the file itself (mostly email attachments)
but i think this one is a bit different.
i've tried, txt, pdf, .doc, .xls and even jpg
as long as it has more than 1 page.
it will print out the first page, and then the next is stuck with the "waiting to print"
I tried to cancel the print in the system monitor > print > cancel
but it will then get stuck with "cancelling"

Is this a isolated problem or is it happening with other computers.

        Do they have a imagepass?

I've tried printing into another printer (iR3300) and it just works fine and I've also reinstalled the printer driver (canon 3220 PCL5c)

how do i check if it has an imagepass? service mode>copier> version?

The imagepass hangs at the rear part of the machine.
If there is a imagepass you will also see a printer tab
            op panel.

i see, I don't see anything hanging from the rear of the machine, and also there is no printer tab on the panel. so i guess this one got no imagepass.

so far, I have tried to clear MMi > format hdd> reinstall system software. change computer.

              but still same problem.

As I back track this thread, we singled out the fact that you don't have ImagePass. But i notice something you said that you tried printing into another printer (iR3300) and it just works fine and I've also reinstalled the printer driver (canon 3220 PCL5c) Have tried using a UFRII driver.

Also as pengtech mention, maybe you can reseat and or replace the two Dimms(512mb), Dimms(256mb).
