Ir 4570 copies through out adf lgl size cannot come clearly?????

    HI FRNDS.....

THIS PROBLEM IS SAID TO ONLY FOR ADF.

MY IR 4570 MECHINE A4 COPIES ARE IS COMING VERY WELL IN TO ADF OR PLATTERN GLASS.. IN PLATERN GLASS ALL COPIES PRINTED VERY CLEARLY. SO PROBLEM IS....... WHEN I MAKE COPIES THROUGH OUT THE ADF . A4 SIZE PAPERS/COPIES PRINTED CLEARLY. THAT'S NOT PROBLEM.

    O.K .

BUT WHEN I MAKE COPIES THROUGH ADF LEGAL, A4 R and A3 SIZE PAPERS SCANNED SUCCESSFULLY BUT COPY PRINOUT ITS COMES FIRST OFF PAGE WHITE..DOWN THE PAGE OFF COPY PRINTED.. THAT MEANS PRINT OUT IS MATTER PRINTED START AT DOWN OFF PAGE. CANNOT PRINT COMPLEATLY. FIRST OFF PAGE WHITE PAGE.. DOWN OFF START THE PRINT.THAT IS PRINT OFF ONLY.

    HOW IT IS?????
A4 SIZE PAPERS VERY WELL TO PRINTOUT/COPIES ITS' COME VERY CLEARLY .

BUT PROBLEM ANY A4 R AND LEGAL SIZE AND A3 PAPERS PAPERS SCANNED SUCCESFULLY.WHEN COPY PRINOUT ITS COME OFF PAGE.
PRINT CANNOT START THE UP EDGE. PRINT START 'S MIDDILE OF THE PAGE EDGE.

CAN U SOLVE ANY BODY THESE PROBLEM.

    Im not shure

I dont know if i has understand your problem.

But the first to check is the sensors in the adf tray.
Change the photointeruptor with each other and se for the result.

    One flag is possible displaced..

It could be the width sensor that had came out of place or needs an adjustment in sm / mode feeder

The cable to the green lamp could be defect
    Good luck

If I understand your problem, the copies are way down on the page cutting off your image? ( I don't work with A sized paper in the States, so I don't, know offhand which sizes are comparable to which sizes I deal with) If the pages are long, like legal, make sure the tray sensors are being activated. Curled paper will not hold them down, and then the copier makes wrong decisions for you. Try your long documents with the flags taped down just for a test, to see if you get good results. If you do, then you have a problem with curled originals.

Lets stick with legal here for the sake of easy understanding... If you put a legal sized document on the document glass and copy it, is your image correct? Now, if you tape down the two long paper sensor flags on the document feeder entry tray, and feed your legal sized document thru the doc feeder, is your image correct?

Are the dials set correctly in the paper drawers to properly signal what paper is in each drawer?

I also do not work with the A4/A3 settings - but it seems a little strange that you can mix the LGL in with the A3. LGL is inches and A3 is metric (I think). Make sure the drawer dial and US/Metric are properly set.

How many trays do you have? "Let's just say you have two"
When you go into paper select what sizes do you see?
A4,A4-RA3,B4,LTR,LTR-R,LGL,11x17. What do you see.. Have you checked the inch size switch on the side of the cassette next to th blue dial, you A/B and then inch. There has to be a wrong setting some where.

When you are making copies thru the ADF, are you selecting the paper to be copied onto, or is the selection set to AUTO?

Try it on AUTO,, if it feeds shorter paper than your original, then the problem lies in your ADF, because it cannot sense the paper length. Check your entry tray length sensors,, they both should be activated by legal paper or longer.

It sounds like you might have
to initialize your ADF tray settings.
