Help Setting a canon 3220 w/ imagepass c1

Hi


I just get a canon c3220 with a imagepass c1, I was unable to connect it to my local network, How I can access a setup process on the imagepass c1, there is a special software to do that? Can I do that from the copier UI?


I ping the imagepass using an IP from the copier report, but it is unaccessible, in other words, I can't do anything.


Please if somebody can help it will be really appreciated. Thanks

C1 firy setup steps

Hi,

You need to connect the C1 fiery using a video cable(looks similar to your scanner cable) and also a crosscable or patch cable(watever u call it ).
Connect one end of the video cable to the C1 and other end to the machine , below the scanner connection.
Also, connect the crosscable's one end to the machine,in the nework port and other to the fiery, here u c 2 network ports, connect it to the port which doesnt have a network symbol(3 comps attached) near it.

Then, switch on both the machine and the fiery.

If the connetion is setup well, u can see the procssing data light blinking as soon as u on the machine and the C1fiery.

Then, click on the printer tab on the control panel and setup the network connection.


U need to have 3200 print drivers to take a print out .

u need to go svc mode > option> interface> change '0' to '3'. off and on machine and server. from panel,u will able to see 'printer' and from there,u go to 'setup'. Default password is Fiery.1

Everythinhg is setup as you suggest, my impresion is that the fiery is not able on the copier 3220.
