    Canon IR5570 Networking Problems!

    Hello All!

I'm in need of some help with a Canon Ir5570 networking issue that I'm having. Our office got a new-used Canon Ir5570 and I'm in the process of getting it to work with our network. We have a small office with Hub switches and one T1 router etc.. Peer to peer XP environment etc..
I'm reading thru the network Guide setting up this copier to get it to talk. I'm following the step by step procedures and I'm not getting the machine to talk to network. Plus the "Check TCP/IP" notification keeps poping up. If I go to try to make changes in the Control panel, Network settings area, I'm not getting all the displayed function buttons to change IP address etc.. that the guide is stating or showing. The Hub the copier is connected to is showing it's there and talking. But I'm missing these menu areas to make the changes the Guide is talking about. I've turned it on, when I go into the I go into Tcp/IP settings I do not gett the menu buttons to change the IP stuff or config stuff etc.. Thanks for your help in anyway!

Yes that is ON and powered her down and restart it up. When I turn it on and reboot etc. That s when I get the TCP/IP check display on main menu screen. I have followed the book to the tee, Just not getting the 5 and 6 screen menu options. Instead I get

Use PASV Mode For FTP (Button)
        Certificate Settings (Button)
        Proxy Settings (Button)
        IP Range Settings (Button)
        Receiving MAC Adress Settings (Button)

Looks nothing like 5 and 6 screen shot nor option like that.

Alright you must go into service mode and change the interface option back to 0.

It seems that there was a fiery hooked to this imagerunner.

Hit additional functions and the 2&8 then additional functions again.

Go into copier-option-int-img-con. Turn back the value to 0,
            Then reboot.

Let's keep in mind that you might not have a printer kit install.

            Try this and post back.

I'm out of the woods, I just installed the printer driver on a remote computer and got to print out. Thanks once again! Also got the remote user interface to work via web browser page window. Thanks!
