    k3 finisher

Now I have another finisher giving me a 531-002, replaced stapler, checked switches, no luck. Any Ideas?

K3's have been around a while...

Wiring harness that travels back and forth with the carriage, comes to mind. I can't recall the error code, but all those signals pass through that umbilical to the controller board...

Check for a faulty wiring harness to MSW2.This could cause this code.

Make sure both the door switches are interlocked. I don't remember if that gave me a 531 or a 532 but it's worth a check. MSW2 can definately cause that code. Just do yourself a favor and remove the switch from the swing assembly to check it. It can look good and feel tight if you check it while it is still in the assembly.
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.
