I have not seen this before but I would try replacing the scan lamp. Also check your front door interlock, there is a laser shutter near the interlock and this can cause the paper to sit at registration and copier just runs indefinitely or E100's. Bend the interlock so it moves the shutter more when door is closed. I think there is some legal issues in removing the shutter or wedging it open permanently soo whatever you do don't do that.

Also this model has an interlock switch for the copy glass. Check that it is working properly. Usually all the orange lights flash if that has a problem though, but it's worth a shot.

I agree with DLP. Most likely your exposure lamp is not reaching the desired intensity for any number of reasons. Some very simple, others more complex:

Low room temperature makes the lamp dim or flicker.
Failed lamp heater makes the lamp dim or flicker.
      Bad lamp.
      Bad lamp inverter.
      Bad CCD.

Start with the simple stuff first. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If not the lamp the heater blanket is a good bet.
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.

One other thing I would try is unplugging the finisher and see if it makes a copy.

As to the lamp heater suggestion,, I have some of mine over time shift on the lamp tube, partially obstructing the opening on the lamp. These usually code for me, but it is something to consider.
