Error e001 on canon np 6016

I AM NOT A TECHNICIAN. READING OTHER POSTS, ON DIFFERENT MODELS ERROR CODE 0001 IS UNIVERSAL. IS THE ONLY OPTION IS TO CALL A TECH IN TO RESET WITH CANON NP 6016? CLUES PLEASE

Chances are you gonna have to call. This code in most canon machines refers to fuser section, parts may be needed. Plus this machine is old. Good luck.

in older models E001 is fuer is not reaching the desired temperature within xxx seconds. Could be fuser lamp, thermister, thermal fuse etc . I have lost touch with NP models sorry

The E001 errors are rarely false indications. You most likely have a fuser condition that will require the replacement of the fuser, which is a little more difficult than the average enduser can handle.

My advice? Call a tech. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
