    on this series you have to install the N version firmware after installing the boot rom and NIC card in the multi-pdl kit

    without the firmware you will not see the PS/PCL version

      btw I instlled the fax board before the warning and fax works great.... should I remove it??

        no it is not necessary to remove the fax board before upgrading

          THANK EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME!!!!

          I have it up and running great... fax,print,copy... not bad. now I have to learn how to work it.

                            To all Canon Tech's....

                            In case anyone missed it (or even cared for that matter!!!) Version 4.72 of the SST has been released by Canon which fixes a number of connection problems with the iR-Adv C2000 series of machines.

                            It can be downloaded from the SIMS site - or dealernet in North America. Contact your TDE for access.

                            And please do not be offended when I say I WILL NOT supply it to anyone, miss use will seriously F**K your machine up, and I ain't gonna fix it!!!
