    Moving from Canon boxes

Hey all....I've been conspicuously absent from the forum due to a change of employer.
I'll not be working on the Canon boxes anymore...Ricoh,Toshi and Sharp from now on.
I figured it was time to get some tooltime up on other brands so as of Feb 1 it'll be no more IRC3100/6800/C1 for me............YIPPEE

Sorry to hear you won't be on the Canon post anymore. I hope for your sake those manufacturers are better where you are. Good luck. ;-)
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.

Hey Oze, I hope the new employer was your idea,, and not the old heave ho. It has been a grin sharing tech duties with you here, hope we can stay in touch...

Best of luck Oze and a big thank you for your help in the past. I just wish I could dump the 3100's and the 6800's - preferably off the end of the local pier

See you on the Sharp board as we have Canon, Sharp, and now Samsung. I think once you get use to the Sharps you will like them.

Congrats sir! Hope this new move is a positive one for you whether its more money, less driving, or just the excitement of scratching your head and cursing engineers with small fingers of different boxes. Wish you all the best!
The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
Printer + Fax + Copier = Jack Of Many Trades,
                  but Master Of None
Color Copier = Not A Color Printer
InkJet MFP = Not A Fax Machine
                  B/W Copier = Not A Press
Finisher = Deal Closer (salesman, not accessory)
Copier Tech = Admin's Stress Ball (Scapegoat)

Hey he's not getting an U024 memory clear! I'm sure Oze still will remember a few Canon fixes... =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                              Heya Screwy and everyone...
2nd day on the Sharp/Toshi and Ricoh boxes and so far so good...replaced developer in a Sharp dev(stoopid non mono-component)....rebuilt a Toshiba 350 fuser...cleaned up some thermistors in a Ricoh fuser....and various dumb customer issues(customers remain dumb no matter the brand).
I've actually had computer issues that have kept me away....but I'll be stopping in from time to time
