    Urgent, please help, clc 3220

    Dear Friends and Experts

I want to buy a CLC 3220 and yesterday I went to test it, the machine is as new make just 24000 and in excellent condition, but I have some issues consider this machine.

In the test page which I print, the gradient bar is dotted with lines, something wrong happen to the black gradient circle also and with the CMYK bar near the black color.

I print these test pages on CLC 3220 of my friend and the gradient were OK

I am uploading these images for better explanation:

I am Uploading the test #10 of the machine what I want to buy.

My question is what the possible causes of this, and what bad it is, and how to eliminate it if possible.

    Thank you in advance.

The dotted lines are sub scan pitch lines. There are different motors that can be responsible.

depends on the motor involved. You'll probably need a tech to test and replace the motor causing this.

The black drum looks weak and might need to be replaced. Since this is one for sale, is it being used regularly? If it has sat idle for a long time, I'd suggest running 50-100 copies and run your test charts again to see if they are better. This would give the developer a chance to mix out any clumps and lub up any cleaning blades. As Roho suggested the pitch lines can be caused by a motor. But I would also check/replace the ITB belt cleaner assembly, drive gears for the ITB belt, and clean the drive roller for the ITB belt. If it sat idle for several weeks/months the blade might have rotted a bit or stuck to the ITB belt, gears might have slight cracks, or the drive roller has a lot of dust on it.

This is an error setting the print driver, download ALTONA TEST and explanations to it, then change the settings.
                Check PM.

You are right friend, it was drivers issue.

First I used the PCL5c drivers and print from PDF and make these mistakes in gradient, but when I install the PS drivers there were no problems.

                  Thank you all friends.
