there is a A/B size paper setting on the side of paper dial if this is set to A type you will get a4 a3 etc being diplayed for legal 11x17 it needs to be set to B type.
I have a Canon IR600 that has, and actually is, working fine. EXCEPT that for both tray 3 and tray 4 is shows "load paper". There is legal in 3 and 11x17 in tray 4. I have both the repair and operators manuals but they are very complicated in how they give directions for setting up tray 3 and tray 4.
What is the secret to turning these tray on and setting the paper size?
Thanks.
Is the paper lifting, take out tray 3 to see if tray 4 lifts, if not check if it is connected correctly
I did that and they were not on. I turned them on but no difference. They were turned on for the printer. Before I could print to the tray 4, ledger, but could not copy. That probably would explain that situation.
I turned the machine off and on but no affect.
I went through the C3... c4... bit and checked the widths. came up the same but still doesn't show the paper in the icon and if I select tray 3 or tray 4 it says "load paper". But it will let me select them now where not before.
have tech check paper detect sensors/ and or swap #3 n # 4 pick up units
