      hi,is the copier stuck on this error,can you not clear it via service mode hd clear and test modes.if this does not work you will probably need a new compatible hd,support toll software and firmware to sort it out or call a canon engineer.

          HOLD DOWN 1 & 9 KEY & POWER UP WHILE HOLDING DOWN KEYS/ keep holding until u see a white box flashing on LCD screen/ RELEASE KEYS> IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 20 MIN TO FINISH CHECKING THE HDD. After check re boot copier see what happens !!!!!
