I have already downloaded the Command Work Station ver. 4, but the program does not see the Fiery. (I tried to autm. search and manual config with fix IP number, but nothing)
Yes I printed the test page and config page from the Fiery controll panel. I could not see the network icon on Fiery.
Is the Z400 systme software on my PC or Fiery?

And I would like to write what I have already tried:
First:
I connected PC and Fiery direct with crossover cable. I saw the connection in "Local connection" on PC. (the packages are coming and going......)
PC Settings:
IP address: 192.168.0.15 (Fix)
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192. 168.0.16 (Fiery IP)

Fiery Settings:
IP address: 192.168.0.16 (Fix)
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192. 168.0.15 (PC IP)
Second:
I connected PC and Fiery throught router with normal patch cable. I saw the connection in "Local connection" on PC as well. (the packages are coming and going......)
PC Settings:
IP address: 192.168.0.15 (Fix)
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192. 168.0.1 (Router IP)

Fiery Settings:
IP address: 192.168.0.16 (Fix)
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192. 168.0.1 (Router IP)

The results were the same in both cases. Communications exists between the PC and Fiery. Nothing can be seen on Fiery and I can not print from. PC. If I click on print (on my PC) the document dissapears from print list, but nothing happens.

I ask again, maybe you have overseen my first post regarding this issue: did you confugure your tcp/ip port on your pc the right way? you must set it to lpd instead of raw and give the printer queue the name "print" (without qoute marks)

You have the connection between Fiery and CLC1160, it means u already have the interface pcb installed in CLC1160.
If u installed that Command Workstation from the CD that came with the Fiery> that is where u will find the z400 System Software.
If u Lost that CD , u will have to dig up a Copy. / or post for it.
The reason u need a SCSI Cable is for the connection from the Fiery to a Laptop/or PC to download the Fiery System Software.

***Connect your CD-ROM drive with a SCSI-2 cable to the SCSI port on the back of the ColorPASS.
Load in Firey System Software CD.

u don't need Firey system software to print a config page/and or test page. those pages could be from an old set up . remember this Fireyz400 model is over 7yrs. old
he does not have the network icon on the Fiery control panel/ that icon confirms system software is installed and sees the PC.
