Hi Guys am badly stuck for IR2800 toner but I have GP 405 toner ..can I use this as a temporary measure. I know it will be a bit messy to put in but if it works for me would get me out of a spot...tks

I wouldn't. Just putting a little of this toner in your machine could have long term issues in your machine that will cost you a lot more in the end.Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned. -
Surely you must have another of these copiers in the vicinity that you can borrow toner from till your toner arrives, and then you can repay the lender. I am assuming of course that you are using Canon toner as well as the lender is. I would not want to "repay" a lender with different branded toner."Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"
