    C3200 Transfer Belt

Hi I am being sent out to replace a transfer belt on an IR C3200. I have never worked on this model before and am not even sure where the transfer belt is. Would anyone have the service manual or replacement instructions for the transfer belt that they would be willing to share? Thanks in advance for you help.

    Its Easy

Right hand side of machine pull out tray
above this is a cover one screw remove screw and cover
open front door rack down the handle
right hand side slide out the transfer belt unit
replace belt let you figure that one out not rocket science

    re assemble reverse of removal

have fun or get in a trainded tech to do this job

Dude, the first steps are simple.
Replacing the belt for someone who has never done it before... Challenging.

      Good luck.

Better bring two belts/ just in case

what a brilliant manager to sent u out to do this without some hands on knowledge/ I also recommend that when u replace an ITB belt >replace the ITB cleaner blade / it's a good maintenance practice

And don't forget to clean the drive roller while you have it apart.

Run Auto Gradation Quick adjust when you get it back together.

I agree with all of you

I have told my manager that I am not the person for the job. I am a printer tech. Unfortunately, I am the only one cleared to go to this site, so when a copier breaks, I get sent out, I have no choice in the matter.

how about the company u work for spending some money and provide training/ anyone in this forum who says this machine is easy to work on > without some hands on knowledge , is a Liar. it can turn into a mess. those Canon manual illustrations have never been helpful to me ,and I am trained on over 30 Canon products.

send me your companies e mail, I want to say something to them.
