You say you got the spects while running a black test copy from service mode. Why would the ccd adjust fix that? Isn't the ccd only used when
making copies?

??? I just know it fixed it. Magic I guess...the copier Gods said let it be healed and running the ccd-adj seemed to make the spots go away.. Now they may come back but I went by the customers office today and it still looked good.Comment

I love it because it fixes things, I hate it 'cause it usually does not make sense right away. It represents a piece of the puzzle with no image on it,
it fits perfectly but something is missing.
Usually the reason will surface later with another symptom.
Guess we'll have to wait and see.
