    HDD Cloning

    Hai friends,

    Please explain about HDD cloning procedure and its tools....................

    You need to clone at the block level using tools such as Acronis. The copier needs to not be able to distinguish the clone from the original. I don't believe this works with all models, but it does with some of the older ones. Personally I recommend using SST. When you replace the hdd you really should put the latest version of firmware on the copier.

          You got the SSt long time ago, ... any problem?
          I think you have reasons to look for cloning,
          Ya, I remembered there is tittle : SST VS cloning. Pls search yourself.

            Thank you for your reply. I think about cloning, because of our location is geographically different , power failure occuring regularly because electric lines comes through forests and hills. this may leads to HDD damage at the time of firmware installation.........there fore please explain about the steps of Hdd cloning...........
