    Blank Copy

    Hi everyone

    I m having a problem in IR400 machine.Copy is totally blank
    I checked each & everything related to this.


    KIndly Suggest me what should i do

    Did you check the blue developer handle? Sometimes it breaks and will overextend causing a gap between the dev unit and drum. You can replace it if it's cracked/broken or if its just worn through the plastic I've found if you screw in a smaller screw in that hole that will fix it.

      Yeah, the developer handle breaking off it's endstop is very common. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Blank copies will be generated if the Developer Drive Clutch CL4 is defective. To determine if the drive clutch is the problem, remove the developer assembly and check to see if a portion of the cylinder is missing toner. If toner is missing and the developer cylinder is visible, check the operation of CL4.
        **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

          Yeah check positioning of dev handle...also check the transfer roll is mounted properly...they like to come out of place. Do you have image on drum?
