    Stray toner

    Hai all,need help and advice.
    I have is iR4570 copier with the printing problem.
    It look like the stray toner along the text and the fine lines.
    Here is the attachment of the print out:

    Can you stop the copy before it enters the fuser?
    It looks like it could be a fuser offset issue, check the fuser unit for proper grounding. Clean the little brush that contacts the film and the metal tab that contacts the frame.
    If its before the fuser check and clean all the bias contacts on the developer.

      There's a setting in service mode level 2 that can reduce this
      COPIER>OPTION>BODY>FIX-SMR
      0: default
      1: decrease the developing bias by a single step (-20 V)
      2: decrease the developing bias by 2 steps (-40 V)
      If '2' is selected, the lines can become thinner.


      As this reduces the developing bias it might also be worth having a look at copier / adjust / develop / DE-OFST (in level 1)

        check if the right side door is closed properly/ fixing film needs proper pressure
        check that the door actuator has not become displaced
