CANON PC 300
Little old lady came in shop and said her PC300 needed an adjustment. I told her i would look at it. The springs were missing off the upper reg roller and rear spring tab broken off. Found the springs and replaced them. Now the copyboard goes back to the scanning position and waits then reverses back to left about an inch and says paper jam. I am not sure if the doc glass should have a home position mark where it goes through the copyboard detecter sensor or not. If someone worked on these maybe i could get a few tips. Just not sure if someone else messed with it before. She even wanted to sell it to me and i said no thanks!!!! Thanks in advance for any help as these 2 copy a minute machines are hard to find the days.
