For a novice to rebuild a fixing unit you are asking a lot.

In the big city you don't have the time/space or permission to re build those 3200 units at most offices / down time is money lost in Corporate Accts. We stock those units & 5180 units for same day repair. I know their are plenty of tricks to get some stock working on those units/ but the more u give a customer to work with, the more they expect from you. We find if you sell them the correct machine for their needs, the word of mouth spreads in the industry that this sales and service company excel at both ends of the coin.

No,don't rebuild at customers office.Do 3 or 4 at a time at the shop...get pretty quick doing them. We keep 1 or 2 new ones and a couple rebuilds on the shelf. Yeah more work to rebuild than other fusers but its an overpriced assembly. We rebuild them once then trash them. One of the reasons why 3200s are not very profitable....along with drums.
