Paper fed from the Cassettes up through the Vertical Path are susceptible to jams at the Guide Plate on
Right Vertical Path Door. In order to prevent this, the Crossing Guide Sheet (FC8-8836-000) will be
introduced.
Attach the Crossing Guide Sheet to the Guide Plate on the Right Door.

Installation:
1. Clean the attachment position on the Right Guide Plate with alcohol.
2. Remove the backing paper from the double-sided tape on the backside of Crossing Guide Sheet.
3. Attach the Crossing Guide Sheet to the attachment position on the Right Guide Plate so that the
crease on Crossing Guide Sheet is aligned with the edge of Guide Plate.
The Crossing Guide Sheet must be attached so it is in between the ribs of Guide Plate and does not ride on
the ribs of Guide Plate.
